WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, He was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. He arose on the third day, ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. Jesus promised to return some day. Will you be ready?

Wayland Community Church is committed to teaching the Word of God, and to serving our community.
HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
We support our community in a variety of ways. This picture shows some of the Christmas stockings we have filled for Portage County Family Services.
EVANGELISM
We help spread the Word of God by packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The shoe boxes are ultimately given to under-privileged children.
SERVICE FOR ALL AGES
Our worship service begins at 10:00am. We also hold a Children's Church for kids which occurs during our pastor's sermon. This picture is one of the crafts made during Children's Church.

Saturday, November 29- Annual Hanging of the Greens, 10:00am. Come help WCC look lovely. As always, some food will follow.
First Advent Sunday, Hope, November 30- Hot Cocoa Bar and mug give-a-way following service. Enjoy a steaming mug of your favorite hot chocolate. Bring your mug home! The CC kiddos will decorate their classroom together as well.
Second Advent Sunday, Peace, December 7- Soup and Salad Luncheon following service. Church provides salad, we need donations of soup, sides, and dessert.
Third Advent Sunday, Joy, December 14- Hot Potato Bar following service. The church will provide the potatoes and fixings.
Fourth Advent Sunday, Love, December 21- Birthday Party for Jesus after service! This is a potluck luncheon; bring your favorite dish to share. The church will provide Jesus' birthday cake!
Wednesday, December 24- Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, 7pm. Enjoy the hope, peace, joy, and love that comes from being in God's House together.
