WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, He was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. He arose on the third day, ascended into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. Jesus promised to return some day. Will you be ready?
WHAT WE DO
Wayland Community Church is committed to teaching the Word of God, and to serving our community.
HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
We support our community in a variety of ways. This picture shows some of the Christmas stockings we have filled for Portage County Family Services.
EVANGELISM
We help spread the Word of God by packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The shoe boxes are ultimately given to under-privileged children.
SERVICE FOR ALL AGES
Our worship service begins at 10:00am. We also hold a Children's Church for kids which occurs during our pastor's sermon. This picture is one of the crafts made during Children's Church.

Mark your calendars!
Come join us for the 125th anniversary of the dedication of the reconstruction of our church following an arsonist fire in 1899. On October 18 we will hold a special service and enjoy fellowship and food afterwards. If you used to think of WCC as your home church, come on back and visit; we would love to see you and catch up!
Fall Festival
It is that time of year! Nights get chilly and the foliage becomes beautiful. And...WCC celebrates the season with some food (church potluck), fellowship, games, and crafts! This year we are holding the festival right after service on Sunday October 25th. Dress for outdoors and bring your appetite! We hope to see you there.
